I have built my life and career around helping people and organizations to create a more just and equitable society, with particular attention to advocating for and lifting up individuals whose rights and opportunities have been consistently dismissed and destroyed. Sharing these stories with the audiences who need to hear them is the first step in urging action and making change. While I have worked with hundreds of organizations across a broad spectrum of mission areas, I have special expertise and interest in education from early care through college and career, the LGBTQIA+ community, the justice system, women’s and gender rights, health care, food justice, and affordable housing. I am always open to and adept at expanding my knowledge on any topic.I bring experience and energy to the work of shaping the narratives around issues that impact our lives. Finding creative, thoughtful, meaningful ways to birth these stories in the world is a means to transform opinions, policy, lives, and opportunities. I am confident that my 25+ years of strategic communications expertise and my commitment to significant, meaningful social change make me an outstanding candidate for any senior-level communications role.
