Based in Santa Fe, New Mexico, Betsy has extensive experience in leading and facilitating multi-discipline/functional teams. Formerly a geoscientist, and Exploration Manager for Exxon, she has 20 years of on-the-job, proven management experience, including on location in the Far East, where she led technical teams. Her focus and passion is creating strategic breakthrough performance (through excellent leadership & teaming) by providing uniquely tailored training, consulting and coaching.Breakthroughs happen through applying state of the art & proven tools, methods and insights. Previously “stuck” executives, leaders and teams learn how to achieve significant breakthroughs in their organizations and personal lives. She has conducted many “breakthrough thinking” workshops at Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL) and has facilitated "Leading Change" workshops for managers at the Department of Energy (DOE). She has diverse consulting experience-- including with top laboratories across the country who must "create something from nothing." Her nonprofit work includes recently co-creating a breakthrough community oil & gas ordinance for Santa Fe County, NM. Betsy has a Geology degree from Texas A&M University and a Masters in Organization Development from The Fielding Institute, California.
