The end result was a service that provided mentoring and coaching for all levels within an organisation, from execs to engineering, supporting a broad range of objectives from strategic roadmap building, cloud migration strategies, DevOps transformation initiatives, through to hands-on Continuous Delivery support.The company grew from around 10 to over 70 people, without ever losing it's close-knit startup style culture. In the role of DevOps Manager working with the Engineering and Infrastructure department heads to implement new technologies and Agile ways of working. Lead the roll-out of Scrum and Kanban to the delivery teams as well as the IT & Infrastructure teams. Built a devops function and migrated on-prem systems to the public cloud.As you'd expect, I spent a fair chunk of my time waving my arms around "evangelising" about DevOps and agile, running workshops, conferences and coaching teams. Meanwhile my team of devops ninjas busily set about automating the hell out of everything.
