Hello everyone, Betti here.I am curious and engaging person with tens of project ideas and so little time.I work as a coder of tools and addons for Blender; I use python and C/C++ to help my temmates work faster and more efficiently. I use all my creativity to set up systems that work in clever ways. When my coworkers or superior need something, they just have to describe me their end goal. I am finding the best way to reach it. If I find something doesn't work, I have no problem retracing my steps. I always go for maximum efficiency and simplicity in my software, aware that production deadlines can be short.I am also trained in rigging, 3D modeling and retopology, geometry nodes and other blender features, video editing with Blender or Premiere.As a student, I have been working part-time for MAD Entertainment, animation studio in Napoli, for 3 years; in this historic Blender affectionate studio, I worked as a tool developer, and occasionally as a prop and character rigger and technical artist.I learned from my coworkers how a production is set up and works, and how to automate it and make it as easy as possible. As the only coder in the studio, I was responsible for developing and mantaining all the addons; I was also the hand behind the project that my boss Ivan imagined, the implementing of a Surface Deform modifier for the Grease Pencil. The working patch can be found jn the featured section.I am freshly graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts of Napoli in Cinema and Media, with the last semester spent on an exchange program at the ENSAD of Paris, in the Animation course. This not only means that I have an understanding of the whole media production creative process, and can work synergetically with every production sector as a tool developer.This also means that using my coding skills I like to experiment with my own creative projects.I hope my curiosity and the will of creating something new could lead me down this path someday and I can express myself fully.I have a general knowledge of computer graphics, 3D graphics and their working and I could adapt to work and develop on other software, like Maya or Unity or Unreal Engine, all of which I have tried one way or another thoughout the years.
