About Bettina Thorkelin

My background and experience is a combination of management, commercial excellence, sales, partner channel development, marketing, professional services, fintech, finance, retail, manufacturing and real estate.I've worked in IT since 1988, and my Microsoft journey started when their professional services business was none-existent. In my period outside Microsoft, I worked as Country Manager, having turned around the Danish business unit of eWork from loss-making to quadrupling their size. After that I decided to add an MBA to my resume and I also returned to Microsoft as commercial lead on high profile projects with large financial institutions and retailers before I decided to accept an opportunity to work in the payment industry as Regional Director, responsible for the Nordic Region and UK. Valitor chose to sell the omni-channel business unit, so I decided to continue my Microsoft journey with Yavica, in the real estate industry. After Yavica I joined Salesforce being responsible for the Integration Cloud (MuleSoft) business in Denmark.During my time, I have worked with many global enterprise cross-border technology projects. Passionate about;Business Strategy, Management, Commercial Excellence, Professional Services, Digital Transformation, Partner Management, Marketing, Board Work and keeping body and mind healthy!
