providing therapy for adults with speech & language and swallowing difficulties as a result of a stroke for example. and working with children with developmental delay in speech and language acquistion working mainly in local NHS clinics. currently retired and enjoying long haul tavel and cruises as much as possible. My husband is also retired.we have 1 son and granddaughter living in Belgium and a son and granddaughter in Norwich so visit them often. sons also have an apt in Spain.nice to go there and miss the wet weather in Scotland where we currently live.

I attended a training course as a National Cash Register Accounting Machine Operator. This skill was needed to work as a payroll clerk.I emigrated to Canada in 1958 and working at Ste Mary's hospital was my first Job. I settled in Montreal was married there and my two sons were born there. I returned to the UK in 1972 and settled in Scotland. I enjoyed Canada very much and still miss it sometimes.

After leaving Nuneaton I lived in London for 2 years. thoroughly enjoyed it and made many friends three of whom emigrated with me to Canada. We enjoyed going on holidays together.e.g Paris.What was then Yugoslavia Romania, and The United States. My favourite place there is Palm Springs California and we have visited there for the last 15 years. We spent 6 weeks over Xmas there in 2008. and Xmas 2009 we ent in Vietnam I cannot speak highly enough of that country and the peopl. It is high on my wish list to go back. We rented a resort on the South China Sea wher we were to have Xmas dinner, I wondered what would be served need not have worried it was totally traditional Turkey with all the trimmings.all the carols were in English and the atmosphere was magical.I became a millionaire whilst there I had a $100 US travelers cheque and when I cashed it I received 1 million 8hundred thousand Dong in exchange, It took about 15 mins for them to count the money out one bill at a time !!
