About Bev Bevan
I graduated from the University of Northampton in 1995 with a degree in Drama and English and completed my Certificate of Education in 2006.Drama is my main passion and I love using creativity and theatre skills to help children and adults achieve greater confidence for themselves, develop soft skills and have fun. I have run The Swan Youth Theatre sessions for 5 years and my own successful Youth Theatre- Worcester Youth TheatreMakers working with my business partner. I have delivered drama workshops across schools in the county, working with specialist groups such as looked after children, adults with mental health challenges and people with acquired brain injury. I have had the pleasure of working alongside Worcester Action for Youth, Worcester Community Trust, Worcester Live, Young Rep, Stagecoach and Kneehigh Theatre. I spent many years tutoring and with vulnerable young people, delivering Art, Drama, English and personal development sessions, traineeships and pre-apprenticeship programmes. I am an experienced young persons' mentor, careers advisor and job coach.
