Managing all functions moving forward, I was subsequently promoted to the role of Treasurer. Within this role I am responsible for managing cash flow and forecasting, and completion of treasury, foreign exchange, trade finance and foreign exchange hedging functions. Conducting capital allocation analysis I make allocation recommendations to optimise wealth generation for shareholders.Most notably I conduct negotiations in collaboration with the CFO, lawyers and legal team to ensure the ongoing optimisation of wealth through competitive interest rates, hedging and capital allocation.Ensuring statutory compliance in regards to financial reporting requirements, I provide advice in regards to the impacts of legislative change and reform, and liaise with a broad range of stakeholders. This includes external auditors, banks and internal business unit heads.Regularly examining finance facilities I identify the benefits of new facilities to the company, including managing transfers.In addition I managed the implementation of new software and all aspects of administration, and subsequently the scoping and mapping of the integration of externally managed payroll. Taking the lead in establishing and improving processes, systems and controls, I maintained a broad range of treasury functions. This included foreign exchange systems and backups to dealer, foreign currency payments, currency bank accounts, cash flows, reconciliations, and EFT payments. I also documented the role of the treasury function and developed staff training.

Undertaking this role subsequent to emigration to Australia, I capitalised on my experience in the banking sector, undertaking a customer management and assistance role.

Within this role I was responsible for managing foreign exchange and domestic money market dealing, as well as Euro financing, as a key contributor to strategic planning and client management.
