Serving patients and opticians at the optical sales center of Atwater Eye Care as a student Optometry Intern. Part-time staff of the Indiana University School of Optometry optical lab. The optical lab processes frame and lens orders from both IU eye clinics. I assist the lab with invoicing, billing, deliveries, packaging, shipping, frame tracing, and lens edging.

This is a new student work study with the Office of Campus Life (OCL). The SCL must give priority to the position over all other non-academic activities. The SCL is responsible for upholding and abiding by the information in the confidentiality contract, the RA/RD/SCL Manual, and other communications form the OCL as well as WVWC. The SCL works directly under both WVWC Housing and Contract-Tracing Committees to facilitate the housing arrangements of students who need to quarantine. The SCL assists the students with arranging room check in/out, meals, virtual classes, and COVID testing. The SCL also serves time in the Campus Life Office each week to answer phone calls and perform many other administrative duties. The SCL also makes rounds around the entire campus while serving on their weekly night of duty.

RDs are responsible for upholding and abiding by all information in the RA/RD Manual, OCL agreements, and all other communications from the OCL as well as WVWC. There is one RD per residence hall, and each RD mentors a staff of four to five RAs. The RD administers the building, the residents, the RA staff, facilitates professional development for the RA staff, and enforces safety and student conduct. The RD also makes rounds around the entire campus while serving on their weekly night of duty.
