• Appointed to represent family caregivers, was the only member not part of the elder care/caregiver industry. Spoke for the family members who are not paid for the work they do, representing their immediate, real-life needs to the task force.• Presented the final report of the Family Support Work group without the jargon common to the industry.

• Designed record-keeping charts which were commended by both doctors and nurses. These records also included a daily care plan I developed and maintained.• Designed and built a light-weight, removable frame over which blankets could be placed to keep the weight and friction of sheets and blankets off her legs. This kept her fragile skin from developing sores and contributed to her overall health.• Alerted doctors to early warning signs of infections, which prevented serious infections and sores from developing.• Result was that her life was extended 18 months beyond the normal expectation for a similar patient.

• Membership grew by fifty percent.• Fundraising doubled, allowing organization to send teen members to national conventions and increase contributions to candidates.• Created a detailed manual for future presidents.

• Communicated information from the national organization to the state organization, which resulted ino Exponential growth of student and family participation; ando Increased student participation in regional and national tournaments.• Recruited community judges for state tournaments, resulting in increased awareness of homeschool success in New Mexico.• Created a training program for judges, which resulted in judges feeling confident and willing to return for future tournaments.

• Updated all entry rules to be in line with Expo NM rules. This included developing a new entry system which broadened opportunities for all ages and skill levels to participate in the Fair.• Added participatory learning events which had not been a feature of the Fair in previous years.• Recruited community organizations to sponsor different days of the Fair and new types of exhibits, along with sponsoring awards for those exhibits.• Changed floor plan and display of exhibits allowing improved traffic flow, and meeting concerns of exhibitors for the safety of their entries. • Created a manual to be used by future building superintendents.• Complimented by Fair Board president as having the best building in the Fair.

As part of a small team, planned conferences and conventions ranging in size from 15 participants to 18,000. For the largest convention, made all the logistical arrangements related to 200 exhibits and 400 seminars over five days.• At the request of new management, developed a timeline for convention planning, which became a blueprint for future conventions.• For largest convention, redesigned exhibit hall floor plan, resulting in better traffic flow and increased vendor satisfaction.• Designed floor plan for new, added exhibit venue, which allowed the largest vendors more space.• For a new conference, recruited over 100 vendors through cold calls and letters.• Arranged international travel for small conferences. When the bus taking a group to the airport broke down in Honduras and flight was missed, got everyone home safely.
