Company exported Saligna to Vietnam to be made into garden furniture and transported timber from Eastern Cape to chipping mills in Richards Bay.Was involved in sourcing timber country wide to export. sourcing and selling saligna. Sourcing and liasing with transporters. dealing with the chipping mills in Richards Bay. co-ordinating loading, tranporting and offloading of timber. Where transporters needed return loads, assisted with this as well.Bookkeeping and subitting all returns for company.

PA duties: Compiling Annual Financial statements, Salaries, Travel arrangements, Arranging and co-ordinating, taking minutes in board meetings. Attending and taking minutes at Annual Shareholders meetings. Liasing with bankers, media, JSE and stockbrokers.National Training Manager: Responsible for recognising and setting up training systems for 268 employees. Writing manuals, evaluations and upgrading systems and staff skills. Setting up job descriptions. Registered Skills Developement FAcilitator with Financial SETA, Banking SETA, Submit training plans to relevant SETA's, ensure that refunds were paid to rspective companies. Attend all workshops and meetings of relevant SETA's. Travel countrywide to various depots to implement training and systems. Organise training seminars, conferences and motivational speakers. Attend Road Freight Association meetings.Assistant Financial Manager: Conducting adhoc intenal audits. Reconciliation of various company accounts, Preparation of documentation to close companies no longer trading. maintenance of personnel files and salaries. Keeping training plans and SETA related matters up to date and current.
