Bevan is qualified as a Personal Trainer, a Strength and Conditioning Coach and is also a certified member of the NZ Register of Exercise Professionals (REP'S).Bevan's qualifications also include Bike NZ Level 1 and he has recently been recognised by TriNZ as a Level 3 TriNZ Accredited Coach, one of only three coaches at this level in New ZealandBevan has over 15 years experience of coaching individuals in swimming, cycling, running and triathlon. In that time he has worked with a range of athletes from complete first-timers through to elite professionals competing on a world stage. Having coached and been coached himself Bevan understands the importance of being not only knowledgeable but also accessible. To ensure this happens Bevan limits the numbers on his coaching roster in order for him to be able to personally know each athlete's life situation, needs, and aspirations. Each program is individually tailored, monitored and adjusted, if needed, based on an athlete's progress along the way.Bevan currently has athletes training for their first triathlon, ITU olympic distance events, marathon run events, half ironman and iron distance triathlons. He offers a variety of coaching options ranging from on-line programming through to one-on-one and group training sessions and swim squads.
