•Job safety analysis sheets•Work Procedure sheets•Maintenance costing and history of all equipment and where appropriate components.•Budgetary requirements for all maintenance functions•Condition monitoring to determine trends and establish change out times•Determine min / max for all spares based on history•Prepare parts, tool and labour requirements for Treatment Plant shutdowns•Maintain a library of up to date manuals and drawings•Develop and continually update a list of planned maintenance tasks•Timely and accurate recording of all data and reports.•Managing the program for component replacement based on history and condition monitoring•Maintaining systems, tools and equipment to ensure an effective continuous monitoring program•Ensuring that necessary spare parts are available in the Warehouse, liasing with Supply Dept to ensure adequate stock levels, and assisting in expediting to achieve this goal.•Assisting in the preparation of maintenance reports. •Reporting any improvements that increase the performance of the Maintenance Section of the Treatment Department.•Tertiary qualifications in engineering or 7 years trades experience•Providing technical advice to other members of the maintenance team.•Having good organisational, administrative, communication and interpersonal skills.•Communicating daily planning requirements to Maintenance Supervisors.•Managing planning systems and procedures.•Having good mechanical, electrical and instrumentation aptitude.•Having knowledge of planning/preventative maintenance.•Having a sound operating knowledge of computer database/spreadsheet & word processor functions.•Data collection•Assuming supervisory and training roles as directed.•Training proficiency•Report deadlines•Timing of month end housekeeping•Production of key performance indicators.
