I contributed towards design of the company's innovative design concept, performing yield and revenue analysis allowing for the optimisation of configuration in line with company strategy. Took position of project engineer, aiding in procurement of and joining the team on the deployment of the 1MW Sabella D10 turbine off the French coast. Working alongside Dr Simon Neill i spent 10 weeks working on a new research project entitled, 'Generating Electricity from Western Boundary Currents’. This work culminated in a co-authored abstract submission presented at the 2018 Ocean Sciences meeting, Portland, Oregon.Using Global HYCOM data and MATLAB i extensively analysed the 5 Major Western Boundary currents from a generation perspective.
