The National Security and Federal security services are core tenants of BAE Systems Applied Intelligence business from the UK home office and globally across the Middle-East and Asia. As the National Security and Federal business lead in Australia my role leads a large team of local and global resources to deliver capability and services, and development and investment in domestic capacity growth leveraging a vast pool of knowledge, experience and resources from the UK core business and technology programs.

The role as the Manager Technology Security in nbn is a senior member of the nbn security leadership team, with highly strategic internal and external customer facing leadership and representational relationships. This General Manager level role holds key relationships with nbn Ministerial and Department stakeholders, and with national security agencies.With extensive experience across the NBN through five years of strategic change and constant uncertainty, I have enjoyed the challenge and opportunities through which my roles have enabled me to deliver and develop strong outcomes. Many of my successes include the creation and development of other key security functions and services across the nbn. Spawning highly successful business units to enable efficient and effective outcomes in themselves. I have a strong and broad technology background that has been grown further by this role by developing new relationships and deep technology engagement with carrier and cloud technologies including: Satellite launch and control systems, Cellular mobile technology solutions (3G, 4G, WiMax), core network routing, switching and service assurance, regulatory systems and Business and Operating Support systems (BSS/OSS).A key strategy to develop future models of nbn carrier services delivery is to converge IT 'cloud' and carrier technology delivery by vendors. This will be the challenge of security in carriers to enable the needed flexibility and service assurance to meet customer privacy and service expectations while developing strong new cross-discipline and shared goals to enable '8 million happy homes by 2020'.

Strategic design, coordination and governance of the NBN Co regulatory requirements through collaboration and creation of a business unit for delivery of strategy, engineering solutions, vendors engagement, operational services and confidentiality, integrity and availability.

Development of Regulatory Systems requirements and deployment scenarios.
