Bevan performed a transitional management role at Auckland Transport, focused on uplifting four teams of technical staff along with Vendor and Internal business stakeholder management.Finalist for CIO magazines executive team of the year (2012)Bevan managed 50 staff, plus contractors including a service desk, Infrastructure support team, Application Support team and ERP team.

Bevan was appointed to ensure the successful appointment of a suitable replacement of the existing Microsoft support arrangements in a manner that was as risk free, sustainable and as cost effective as practical. Also providing programme management oversight, direction and support including review and progress reporting for a team of 6 including 5 Project Managers and their respective 35 - 40 projects, to ensure delivery is achieved on time within agreed expectations.

Bevan managed the voice and data network for Air New Zealand (global). Included 60 reporting staff, and management of suppliers such as Gen-i, Vodafone, Fujitsu, IER, SITA.This combined with the operational management of a new Tier 3 datacentre and the initiation of a secondary tier 3 data centre was the culmination of a successful career at Air New Zealand, with a combined annual budget of over $15 million Accountable for all national and international Data Centre’s from small communications rooms, through to state of the art tier 3 Data Centre’s in Auckland Key Deliverables included: -A complete set of operational procedures for a Tier 3 Data centre-Successful negotiation and delivery of the first Enterprise mobile agreement in New Zealand
