For the past seven years I have lead and managed the Community Development Business Unit at the City of Fremantle (Walyalup). My areas of responsibility included Library and Lifelong Learning Services, Leisure Services, Sport, Recreation, Community Legal Service, Youth, Volunteering, Access and Inclusion, Positive Ageing, Aboriginal Engagement, Cultural Centre, Homelessness and Community Grants.My strengths include capacity building, community connections, building social cohesion, relationships. All within a community development model, focusing on inclusion and diversity strength based approach.As we head into 2023 I have now taken on a part time position at St Pat’s Community Support Centre in Fremantle. An opportunity to work within a not for profit organisation, with the goal to end chronic homelessness.Great opportunity to continue working with key stakeholders and partners with an asset based community development approach to support the most vulnerable in our community.
