Support students with a SpLD by creating and implementing an individual learning plan, both in a 1:1 and small group settings. This might range from phonetic reinforcement to the detailed construction of a dissertation. Structure alternate assessment procedures to ensure an inclusive curriculum. Screen students for dyslexia and make recommendations to ensure their needs are met, including access arrangements.

• I co-ordinated ALS for the Art Department, for two years. This included:  mentoring  timetabling staff  arranging and chairing meetings.  liaising with the Dept. Head and my staff to ensured the smooth running of support for students with SpLD. This was noted in the Ofsted inspection.• My lecturing commitments included:  art history and contextual studies;  AON E3, adult literacy E2-L2 key skills communication levels 1-3 basic skills in small groups and 1:1s.  GCSE English • I assessed the students’ initial and diagnostic results on enrolment and I am qualified to conduct dyslexia assessments. • I have scribed, read and invigilated exams. • I also assessed the key skills comms. portfolios and achieved 100% pass rate at L3.

• Standardised the teaching and assessment for LearnDirect students for literacy from entry 3 to level 2. • Mentored staff and carried out observations to ensure consistency and quality. • Devised and implemented procedures and systems to ensure maximum retention and achievement.• Set up a new course, AS & A2 Art History. This included:  creating and developing of a scheme of work and lesson plans  organising and conducting gallery visits in the UK and abroad assessing coursework for external sampling and personal tutorials  I achieved 100% pass rate
