As the Office Administrator duties included maintaining the CRM Database, All HR relating to the Spirit's active volunteer database, ensuring compliance with the Trusts legal and contractual obligations, data entry of confidential medical and post-voyage information including performance reviews, Funder applications & audits, post voyage communications with sponsors and participants, Government reporting and all general administrative office duties.

Duties entailed the collation, counting and analysis of daily cash takings via the store tills and the preparation of daily banking. The role also entailed discrepancy investigations including CCTV review.Price checking involved comparison of competitor pricing to ensure comparble Bunnings products were always cheaper and that advertised price points were up to date in store.

During this period I became the full-time carer for my mum and dad. Firstly, living in Melbourne Australia and looking after mum especially, after she was diagnosed with Lung Cancer. Dad and I remained in Melbourne after her death in November 2012. We returned to NZ in May 2013 where I cared on a full-time basis for dad until he died in July 2014. I took some time after this to grieve and also sort out his estate before I returned to work in October 2014.
