As the stock controller, i immediately implemented the correct procedures of stock storage and ordering. this procedure enabled the salon to correctly calculate there overheads. with these procedures implemented i was able to assess the correct usage of products and to maintain the cost of treatment of each of the services. I assisted our sister salons to implement a first in first out system with there stock this procedure dramatically improved the stock loss of the salon due to products being expired. The salon managers were also taught how to maintain the daily stock and to monitor stock usage.My duties were not limited to stock control, i assisted the manager in day to day operations of the salon, this includes marketing of the salon, implementation of Gift voucher system. i provided various forms of training to members of staff, such as retail training, Facial, and massage training.

The Requirements of the Job for Elemis South Africa was to assist with the Launch of the product, the working period was only for 1 month to introduce the brand into the market and to assist clients in choosing the correct products to suit there skin types.The time with Elemis i achieved top sales for the Johannesburg region in the month that i was stationed at Woolworths East Gate Mall. Subsequently i was asked to continue with the company on a part time basis, due to study requirements i was not able to continue.
