About Beverley Vernon

I love being a teacher. It was my choice to pursue this career in education after working for as an insurance broker and in a small business for 16 years. I have instructed grades 2 - 5 in the last years in the Hingham Public Schools. In December 2013, I completed the licensure program and received the Certificated in Advanced Graduate Studies in Educational Leadership and Administration. It was a rigorous program that has prepared me to help a school move forward with the Common Core State Standards (CCSS) and manage the PARCC assessment process that is anticipated in Massachusetts next year. I enjoy the collaborative process that develops from a professional learning community.
