I do monthly bookkeeping functions for various small companies as well as oversee the work done by others for other small companies. This also includes the salaries and wages for these companies. With the overseeing of work, I also train their employees to do the data capturing in order to keep their costs down. In addition to this, I also file and make payments through e-filing the various statutory returns for SARS and other government institutions. Annually and bi-annually I do the EMP501 Reconciliations for SARS, I also compile the Financial Statements needed for the Accountants to sign (should this be needed for cc's and companies) as far the Financial Statements for individuals who are not part of a cc, I compile these for SARS and their own records. I then submit the various tax returns for employers, companies, and individuals.
