The Director of Professional Outreach is responsible for achieving growth for hospital-specific service lines that are in alignment with the Division and Market Strategy. Under direction of the Hospital CEO, the DPO will develop and implement plans of action for determining and achieving physician satisfaction with the hospital and its departments through open dialogue and in-person visits with both affiliated and non-affiliated physicians in the assigned service area. Work closely with Physician Recruitment, Physician Relations. Help with Job Fairs for Physician recruiting. Support Physician Relations.Working in collaboration with the Hospital CEO; evaluate, analyze, and interpret market utilization data for assigned hospital services ensuring that priorities and opportunities are identified. Develop strategies to grow programs/service lines, as identified in the hospital’s strategic plan. Work with both Physician Recruitment and Marketing in the successful onboarding of new hospital physicians. This includes, but is not limited to, setting up and hosting activities to introduce the physician to the community. Face-to-face meetings with identified physicians and referral sources on a routine basis

I was responsible for the recuitment and retention and resource needs for the department of Nursing, Reporting directly to the CNO. Covering all recruitment needs for hiring , background checks and hiring . Attending Job fairs locally and distance depending on urgent needs .

Responsible for staffing all units with appropriate staff needs , based on hospital ratio needs , Staffing RN's and CNA's as well as working closley with temp agency to fill urgent needs . Later I was able to reduce and completely be self surficiant in my role as a recruiter. No longer requiring the need of the agency.
