A very brief agency stint during covid, focusing on the field of robotic process automation (RPA) and machine learning (ML) across the UK. Opted to move back in house when the opportunity arose.

During this period, I provided flexible freelance recruitment solutions to businesses in need of extra support through times of peak recruitment activity. I worked collaboratively alongside existing in house recruitment functions and also independently. With extensive 360 Recruitment experience, my day to day tasks included direct sourcing and competency based interviewing, pipeline creation, candidate assessment and marking, chairing weekly updates with the hiring teams and collaborating with hiring managers on offer management.Working through my own limited company, my time is spent recruiting for a wide range of different technical functions and levels. While a large proportion of my work is focused on requirements from within the SDLC, this ranges from support roles through Developers & Project Managers, to Operations Managers and Heads of Software. 3 month contract + 1 extension Working as part of a team to recruit key players for Freshfields Drive; a programme responsible for replacing the firm’s core Practice Management / Finance, time recording and Risk and Compliance systems globally.I have been personally responsible for;• Taking job briefings from Hiring Managers• Direct Sourcing of suitable candidates via Linked In, networking and Intranet advertising• Managing direct advert responses received via Taleo • Building pipelines of permanent and contract candidates for Hiring Managers• Conducting first stage HR interviews for a variety of roles including, Developers, Data Analysts, Data Architects, Business Analysts, Data Leads, Finance Consultants, Finance Data SMEs and Senior Project Managers• Writing screening reports for Hiring Managers and making candidate recommendations• Compiling weekly Excel spreadsheet for Programme Management team to track internal applicants

Working on a range of assignments, predominantly within Software Development. Typical roles included Senior Developers, through Solutions Architects and senior leadership appointments. Mainly, but not limited to, Microsoft technologies. Client base spanned UK and EuropeWas assigned to an 18 month retained project with a Microsoft joint venture Consultancy. Responsible for sourcing high volumes of quality Microsoft professionals within the .NET, AX, CRM & BI Consultancy space.

As a Corporate Account Manager, I was working in the contracts division of Hays IT, specialising in PC development. Clients included SMEs as well as Glaxo, Mercury 121, Medas & BBC. Was responsible for full recruitment lifecycle from initial bid through candidate placement and subsequent account management. During this 8 month period, I was personally responsible for placing and running 25 contractors.
