Manage day - to - day operations of the District Attorney’s Office. Train, Mentor and Supervise junior prosecutors in case management as well as trial preparation and presentation. Supervise support staff for completion of pleadings, timely issuance of application for subpoenas and jury charges.• Manage a large and complex felony docket including murder cases, crimes against children cases, crimes against women cases and drug cases.• Assist with drafting the annual budget.• Attend Department Head meetings hosted by the County Judge.• Assist with personnel decisions - Prosecutors, Investigators and Support Staff. • Sit on the Board of Directors for the Local Children’s Advocacy Center.
