I began working at Ipsos (formerly Maritz Research) part-time in 1993. After retiring from the American Cancer Society in 2006, I worked at Ipsos full-time. In March of 2020, 13 of the approximately 130 employees in the Overland Park office began working virtually due to Covid. The rest of the staff was laid off. Beginning June 1, 2020 the decision was made by Ipsos to change their business strategy and the local office was permanently closed. At Ipsos, I worked in several areas - survey center, editing, and as an administrative assistant and evening/week-end supervisor.
