I’m a retired teacher who served 33 years in DISD. I was voted “Teacher of the Year” in 1984, 1994, and in 2004 by my peers. To God be the glory! Natural teachers never really retire. We teach until we can't. I continue to teach through my God-given gift of poetry and sub every now and then. I also share my poetry in schools, churches, and on special occasions. I also write and frame special poems for special occasions. My poems cover a variety of topics (marriage, life, death, graduation, etc. They are spiritually inspired. I love a listening audience.
