Beverly counsels and represents clients in a wide range of intellectual property matters, including patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets. Bev is a registered patent attorney before the United States Patent and Trademark Office (“USPTO”). She advises clients on how to best protect their inventions both nationally and internationally, and has extensive experience in preparing utility and design patent applications as well as prosecuting applications before the USPTO. She works with clients to strengthen, protect, and enforce their brands, particularly trademarks, service marks, and trade dress. Bev has broad experience in preparing and prosecuting trademark applications before the USPTO, and helping manage and strategize both national and international trademark portfolios. The world is increasingly global, and Bev has helped clients protect their trademark rights in more than 50 countries. Bev also has experience with trademark cancellation and opposition proceedings before the USPTO and in foreign tribunals. She works with clients to enforce their trademark rights, and defends client who have been accused of trademark infringement. Bev also works with clients on a wide range of computer and technology related issues. Bev has developed solutions to social media issues, software licensing, and user license agreements, non-disclosure agreements (NDAs), non-competes, domain name disputes and domain name purchases/sales. Bev has represented clients in both federal and state court in a variety of patent, trademark, copyright, and trade secret claim cases.
