Dr. Beverly Ross holds a Ph.D. in International Psychology from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology. She also has earned to Masters Degrees in Forensic Psychology and Sociology/International Studies from Duquesne University and the Chicago School of Professional Psychology. To date, Dr. Ross has traveled to more than 31 countries with a personal and professional interest in the post conflict environment of Northern Ireland. Dr. Ross has expertise in group narratives and the way in which they inform social identity conflict. She currently coordinates a masters level conflict resolution program for California University of Pa. In addition, she teaches courses in behavioral analysis and criminological theory.Dr. Ross is a also a trained mediator and sociological practitioner. Since 2009, she has worked in private practice assisting clients as a court-appointed family mediator. She is the current Executive Vice President of the Mediation Council of Western Pennsylvania where she focuses on community outreach and student development. Also, a member of Mediators Beyond Borders International, Dr. Ross is a committee member of ADR, Children and Youth, who are responsible for promoting mediation processes for young people as well as community capacity building. Dr. Ross has published and authored a number of articles in the field of social science with a focus on cultural communication and social identity conflict. Her focus on inter group conflict has resulted in authorship of Which Foot Do You Kick With?
