CurrentWater Charity is a nonprofit corporation with the mission of providing access to safe water and sanitation facilities to residents of developing nations throughout the world. The majority of our projects are conducted by Peace Corps Volunteers and Returned Peace Corps Volunteers. Together, we have completed 2,000 projects in eight years in 64 countries resulting in service for 2 million people at an average cost of one dollar per person. Now that proof of concept is in hand, we are scaling up our operation with the goal of serving 5 million people per year by 2020. Considering that today, more than 700 million people are living without access to clean drinking water, Water Charity is deeply committed to being a major global partner in helping bring clean water and sanitation services to every person who needs them. Together with Water Charity's founder, Averill Strasser, and JahSun, CEO, I work to plan, finance, and implement our expanding programs.
