This project involved working with community members in a watershed in Adams County, Pennsylvania, and the Interstate Commission for the Potomac River Basin (ICPRB), to develop a feasible watershed management plan for the region.

Some of these included isotope geochemistry of Antarctic ice cores, nutrient analyses of Antarctic ice core and water samples, field work looking at geophysical characteristics of Antactic sea ice, and comparing Antarctic sea ice type records from visual sources and satellite imagery.While in this position I participated in a two month Antarctic expedition to Palmer Station and the Bellingshausen Sea in Antarctica, where I acted as a research assistant to the scientists and PhD students on the ship.
