I have held 3 jobs in my lifetime. I started out at age 14 working at Burger Chef, Ludington's first fast food joint. After 3 years of hard work there, I was chosen for an internship in my senior year of high school at The Dow Chemical Company in Ludington MI. After my internship was completed, I was offered permanent work in a position that was created just for me. I worked in several departments during my 26-year career there, ending up in Human Resources where I learned many, many things about HR and dealing with people of all race and management levels. I thought I was ready for retirement at the age of 43, but that only lasted a couple years before I was recruited by Manpower to work part-time in 2002. That part-time work turned into full-time work and I became a Staffing Specialist/Recruiter. I was promoted to my current position of Market Manager for the Ludington branch, which covers Manistee, Mason and Oceana counties, in 2018. I plan to continue my career for several years.
