It doesn't look like much when you see how long I worked at my previous jobs but even from a short time I gained a great deal of knowledge. From working at the Hilton Hotel I learned what it was to 'work'. I worked with others as a team and learned how to form bonds with my coworkers. After that I went to college for a degree in Business Management and a minor in Creative Writing. With that foundation I went to a small marketing firm where I learned how to work on my own. We were few in number and with that came lots of responsibilities. Each employee had to do the jobs of at least three or four and that led to quick learning in different areas of the company. Now I work as a Cashier and Customer Service Representative at Walmart. A big change from the small town marketing company, though I can still implement what I learned from past jobs while acclimating to being a cog in the gears of the busy and bustling chain store. I want to find a career in which I can continue to learn and grow and be a service to people.
