· Annually reviews and makes recommendations to executive management for improvement of the company’s policies, procedures and practices.· Maintains knowledge of industry trends and employment legislation and ensures the company’s compliance.· Communicates changes in company personnel policies and procedures and ensures proper compliance is followed.· Assists executive management in the annual review, preparation and administration of agency wage and salary program.· Prepare and advised on all compensation plans.· Consults with legal counsel as appropriate, or as directed by the executive management, on personnel matters.· Works directly with department managers to assist in carrying out responsibilities on personnel matters.· Recommends, evaluates and participates in staff development of the company.· Develops and maintains a human resource system (HRIS) that meets company’s personnel information needs.· Supervises the staff of the human resources department.· Participates on committees and special projects and seeks additional responsibilities.
