Provide a variety of services including: strategic communications, project management, event planning, community relations, media relations, and creation of collateral materials.I am a recognized leader with extensive experience, including proven skills in communication, event planning, project management and professional relationships with a diverse array of executives in both the private and public sector.

Since 2001 I served as the Director of External Affairs for the New York Shipping Association, Inc., (NYSA) a non-profit corporation located in Edison, New Jersey. As such I directed the communications, public education and public relations efforts for the Association. Responsible for the development and overall success of the award winning “Delivering Prosperity” awareness campaign and I worked with consultants and analysts on specialized projects. I was also the spokesperson on behalf of the Association with the media, outside organizations and interest groups. I travelled throughout the United States representing the Port of New York and New Jersey speaking on multiple topics including port operations and marketing the port to various groups and organizations. I was a member of the Northeast Harbor Operations Committee and represented the interests of the Association’s 56 member companies to that organization. I served as a sub-committee chair for the New York District Area Maritime Security Committee, and had a National Security Clearance in order to perform that port security function. My position included the development, writing and creative production of the Association’s Annual Report and other public relations media. I served as liaison to the NYSA Board of Directors’ Environmental Committee, facilitating the development of innovative strategies and solutions regarding environmental challenges and concerns related to port operations. I also served as the Chair of the Government and Community Outreach Working Group for the Port of New York and New Jersey's Council on Port Performance.
