Beverly Bravo is an instructor, researcher, and a disability rights advocate focusing on technology and digital accessibility (#a11y).Currently, she's a Sr. Subject Matter Expert at Concentrix and a part-time IT instructor at the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Muntinlupa teaching programming related subjects to college students. She's also a busy bee as a post-graduate student taking up a master's in information technology and working on research focused on accessibility software engineering diagrams.Beverly's passion for accessibility extends beyond her studies. She volunteers as a researcher at User Experience Philippines, the largest design community in the country, and as an events organizer at the WordPress Accessibility Day, a yearly global event that promotes digital accessibility. As a disabled person herself, she advocates for digital accessibility by speaking to different organizations and communities about the impact of accessibility in the digital space.Furthermore, she co-convenes HIRAYA Collective PH, a community that fosters inclusion by bringing together sighted and visually impaired individuals to explore accessible creative learning spaces through immersion and conversations.
