Successful, a 40 year career in public practice, culminating in position of PwC audit partner focused on the consumer products area for 28 years. My primary focus was on pharmaceuticals including biotech, but also had extensive experience in manufacturing, distribution and real estate. Since retirement, I have worked on an advisory board for a private family-owned business and became a director of Lorex Technology Inc. and of Bloom Investment Counsel, Inc. I was asked to join the Lorex board at the beginning of a major reorganization and turnaround of the company. I chaired the audit and special committees (dealing with the sale) as well as being a member of the governance and compensation committees, until the company was sold in December 2012. This sale represented a major financial win for the shareholders. I currently serve as an Independent director for Bloom Investment Counsel, Inc. who among other things, oversees two closed-end Bloom Funds. I also am the Agent in Israel for Canadian Magen David Adom. We reside in Jerusalem and visit Toronto on a regular basis. I would be interested in directorships in either Canada or Israel.
