Kellum McClain Inc. is a NYC-based graphic design studio. Together, Ron Kellum and I have more than 40 years experience designing for clients ranging from venerable institutions to visionary one-person startups. Projects include identity, collateral, promotion and marketing solutions for clients in the music, broadcast, not-for-profit, publishing, travel and ecotourism, museum and education, corporate, and high tech industries. Our award-winning logo / identity work is highly regarded by our peers and clients as is our uncompromising commitment to concept-driven, elegant design.Projects include: Rebranding of Distinguished Programs for DP, an insurance company; exhibition design / signage for the Brooklyn Children’s Museum’s “Neighborhood Nature” exhibit; Sony Music’s Legacy Edition packaging and marketing materials for Miles Davis’ Kind of Blue; promotional art for UN Women; and the design and production of several books for Workman Publishing, including Dad’s Own Housekeeping Book and Dad’s Own Cookbook.

Created identity, annual reports, and general collateral for corporate and not-for-profit clients. Specialized in creating magazine advertorials and promotion, mostly for travel and ecotourism. Clients included Audubon, Travel + Leisure, My Generation (AARP), and Harpers. My 10-year plus relationship with Audubon as their primary source for originating special sections and promotions in the fledgling ecotourism sector helped them cement a specialized niche in this area that continues to be a core source of their advertising revenue.
