Serve on the Management Team, working in partnership with Executive Director on all aspects of organization's operations and growth. Responsibilities include strategic and operational planning, ensuring robust annual and special project funding, directing a $45 million comprehensive fundraising campaign, and annually securing leadership, planned, and major gifts. Lead DEVO (Development, Education, Volunteer, and Outreach/Communication) Team of eight professional staff and have consistently exceeded fundraising revenue goals, often by a significant margin. Through a recently completed comprehensive campaign, have enabled SELT's move to a newly constructed, net-zero office building and conservation center on a 240-acre campus of conserved land. Envisioned, planned, and executed the launch of the organization's "SELTie Conservation Circle," which has tripled the number of major donors supporting SELT's work and tripled Annual Fund giving since its inception. Through active outreach, have nearly tripled the number of planned gifts committed and have secured millions in foundation grant awards. Programs supervised include Education, where I envisioned, planned, and launched SELT's ATLAS (All Terrain Learning Adventures) program, which was developed in response to research I had commissioned to identify the most effective educational approach and structure for raising the next generation of environmental stewards. Toward the work to fully incorporate SELT's Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion values across the organization, SELT's ATLAS program serves only the two least resourced communities in our county, toward the goal of bringing more equitable access to high-quality nature-based education in our region. Working with superb program staff, have developed SELT's volunteer program into a thriving engagement opportunity with 160 active volunteers each year. Similarly, have grown outreach programming from 25-70 events annually.

Oversaw all fundraising activities and nine-member staff for PPNNE's $20 million annual budget. Led staff of 10 professionals including three major gift officers, a foundation/grants manager, an Annual Fund team of three, and administrative support staff. Stewarded, cultivated, and solicited donors with leadership giving capacity across the three states of Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine.

Managed 10-organization fundraising collaborative toward the goal of raising $10 million to protect land in and around Mt. Agamenticus in Maine. (Exceeded goal by $7 million, securing $17 million.) Developed overall campaign strategy and specific strategies for leadership and major donors, including their cultivation, funding requests, and stewardship. Directed all fundraising efforts of 10-organization team comprised of professional staff and high-leverage volunteers (typically Board members) to successfully reach and exceed our fundraising goal.

Worked with alumni and other interested parties to secure major gifts for the University's environmental causes, including the Institute for Sustainability, College of Life Science and Agriculture, and Cooperative Extension/4-H programming. Traveled frequently to meet, cultivate, solicit, and steward major donors and major gift prospects. Raised annual, special project and scholarship (endowment) funding. Worked to identify prospects and establish pipeline for giving across all stages of the donor engagement cycle from information sharing, to cultivation, solicitation, recognition, and stewardship.

Managed portfolio of more than 200 major donor prospects and 80 foundation prospects toward the goal of raising the Forest Society's annual fundraising goal in addition to numerous capital project needs. Served during the organization's comprehensive Centennial Campaign in celebration of our 100th anniversary. Worked closely with the President and Vice President for Development to develop individual strategies for leadership and major gifts prospects. Responsible for managing written donor proposals, major donor cultivation events, and pipeline management of all major gift prospects.

Staffed 24-hour emergency system to respond to vicitims of sexual violence; Chaired annual Walk-a-Thon to raise organizational funds.

Wrote agency's newsletter, managed donor database and supported Development Director as needed. Coordinated fundraising events and prepared major donor visit materials for Development Director and leadership staff. Supported Annual Fund and special project fundraising.

Managed staff of 12 for annual camp programs serving grades K-6; wrote and had published environmental education curricula; managed agency volunteers; developed programs for general public; taught all students (ages pre-school - elderhostel) on a wide array of environmental education topics.
