In my current role, I am accountable for leading the community through the adoption of learning model and building a high-performing team at Ocean Ave School with an emphasis on anti-racist practices. I attain desired learning outcomes by directing collaborative leadership systems, including an annual school success plan. I provide effective training and guidance to seven new school leaders in Portland Public Schools. I participate in numerous district-level Portland Schools programs. Furthermore, I evaluate the performance of 77 teachers and support staff and devise strategic improvement plans.The achievements from this role have included the following: • Migrated to a new school and created appropriate PBIS frameworks for convenience/security of kids, faculty, and parents.• Succeeded in establishing a positive learning environment for 450 students, grades K-5.• Recognized by the Maine Department of Education for reading growth and lessening gap, increasing student scores for last five years.• Headed end-to-end management of change process to become International Baccalaureate World School.

As an Adjunct Professor, I utilized effective teaching methodologies to instruct aspiring teachers and Ed techs. During my tenure as a Principal, I administered a budget of $6M to optimize cash flow. I delivered outstanding services as leader of two schools, involving Sabattus Primary and Sabattus Central Schools. I ensured the seamless execution of tasks by supervising and motivating 97 teachers and staff members. Moreover, I identified areas of improvement and developed new programs, such as foreign language instruction, literacy specialists, before and after school remediation, and late bus service, to streamline operations.The values delivered in the role were: • Spearheaded $8M school building project from inception to completion.• Built and maintained a positive and engaging learning environment for 535 students, grades K-8 to enhance their skills.• Nurtured several teacher leaders and three became school leaders.• Raised students' knowledge and skills, evidenced by improved MEA scores.

As a Curriculum Coordinator, I coordinated the creation of Ellsworth's first K–12 standards-based curriculum through teacher created units. I efficiently drove community efforts for the preparation of the education vision statement. I successfully wrote grants totaling over $1.5M for Ellsworth Schools. I also initiated a successful after-school program enjoyed by 450 students.

In this role, I visited homes with migrant families and provided proper assistance with the utilization of community services. I evaluated the educational gaps of migrant pupils and delivered appropriate instruction and support. Furthermore, I taught students in grades K-8 basic reading and math skills, involving summer programs.

I oversaw and evaluated 23 members of the teaching and support personnel. I succeeded in achieving excellent rating in all three areas of U.S. Department of Labor Review for compliance with regulations, quality of programming, and overall performance.
