I played a pivotal role in ensuring a smooth integration of Wētā Digital into Unity, developing and customizing the global HR system to meet operational and compliance requirements specific to NZ and Australia. My role extends to supporting the broader APAC HR operations, including China, Singapore, Japan, and Korea.

In the Te Whakatairanga Service Delivery and Managed Isolation and Quarantine (MIQ) branches, I provided key support and coaching to management, utilizing one-on-one sessions and workshops to strengthen leadership capabilities. In addition to the day-to-day HR advisory work, I facilitated the change process and developed a customized HR dashboard.

I was seconded into an All of Government Response COVID-19 Compliance Team to improve and execute inter-agency collaboration on compliance matters.

My team was the first point of contact for all HR inquiries, providing timely and accurate guidance to various branches. Within the first 6 months, I started training and mentoring new team members, as well as coaching new trainers later on. I also championed employee well-being by leading bi-weekly yoga classes during lunch hours.
