Social entrepreneur, lecturer, trainer, consultant and researcher with over 25 years experience of working in the fields of social innovation and social entrepreneurship. A focus on entrepreneurship that is having a social impact in our communities and how social innovation can address social issues in a way that non-profits, businesses, and governments have not yet done. Holds a Masters in Social Enterprise and lectured at the University of East London and City University in the UK. Trained and undertook research into social innovation and entrepreneurship in the UK and South Africa. Developed a career as a photographer focused on telling stories of social impact. Relocated to Cape Town in January 2010. Mum to three fostered, then adopted kids. Passionate about raising funds so that traumatised children can have access to the best professional therapy.
