At Citizens Advice Scotland, I undertook a 4 week contract delivering and supporting digital projects and online communication activity. My responsibility within this role was to create the content for a new interactive website and support the digital team with recommendations relating to strategy. After completing the initial project, the contract was then extended to develop an existing site and create the content for it, additionally assisting on the user journey.

Achievements and responsibilities:• Responsible for all content creation and development on Aegon UK social channels. This involved coordinating with associates from various departments to source content, develop processes and integrate social media presence into the business.• Implement strategy across all channels and manage the channels interaction.• Responsible for day-to-day social media activities. Tasks included listening, monitoring and engaging with the Aegon UK social channels.• Worked closely with the PR team for brand defense and clean up activities.• Support web publishing team by carrying out website amends, press release updates, and content publishing on Aegon UK and Aegon IE.

Pilot Fish Media is a specialist digital marketing agency that helps brands launch and grow in new markets by tackling social media locally and globally. The team recently won the Gold Award for International Marketing at The Marketing Society Star Awards. My role was to manage the social communities, working with the clients to meet brand objectives and deliver campaigns. Achievements and responsibilities:• Engaged with multiple stakeholders internally and externally for The Macallan, The Famous Grouse, Cutty Sark and Snow Leopard Vodka to develop online communities in line with their consumer needs. • Managing and growing the company’s presence through Twitter, Facebook, and other strategically relevant online platforms to promote Pilot Fish Media’s reputation as a unique and experienced digital agency and broadcast campaigns.• Utilising key digital marketing disciplines including content, SEO, social and CRM. • Account management lead, communicating with clients for each social media platform in 10 countries:o Responsible for all management and development aspects relating to content. o Managed a variety of online communities, including 13 Facebook pages and 2 Twitter accounts. o Working with the internal team, briefing on community management, creative and copy requirements to produce content. o Liaising with and managing stakeholders throughout the content process, ensuring optimal customer and user experience. o Strategic decision making regarding promoted content within client budget.o Basic maintenance carried out daily and fed back to both internal and external stakeholders. o Producing monthly insights and reports across all 13 pages for the clients, using Facebook insights and Socialbalkers.

Hakuba Snow Sports School is based in Hakuba, Japan, providing professional lessons for adults and children in skiing and snowboarding. Achievements and responsibilities: • Achieved NZSIA Level 1 & 2 within the season. Skier must be of an advanced level and able to analyse and asses skiers or all levels in order to provide an appropriate lesson plan. The skier must also be able to ski off piste well and demonstrate all skiing techniques from beginner to advanced. • Managed kids from age 3 upwards in class sizes up to 10, from 1 – 5 hours of skiing, within the whole of Hakuba Ski Resort. The same applied with adults. • Teaching proper technique appropriate to the ability level of those being instructed. • Providing knowledge to remain safe within the lesson and when riding on their own while, promoting and conducting the lesson in a fun format. • Greeting and assisting guests in a friendly, helpful and respectful manner. • Cooperating with all resort employees for the success of the guests and appreciated that teamwork is essential for success of the guests and ski school.
