Director // Creative DirectorFreelance 2018 - PresentLondonCurrently Rep'd By Rankin on The Graft Lost Club Culture // Short film (May 2018 - Aug 2019) Director // Writer As vital dance institutions in the UK continue to close their doors, filmmaker Bexy Cameron’s latest short film revives the peak of UK raving in a nostalgic look back at the club nights and kids who made nightlife as we know it today. A journey through unseen footage from the legendary UK rave scene of the late 80s and 90s, the film takes us back to where it all began. Wrote and directed this film for the Launch of YouTube Music with 14 interviews, 3 week shoot, 30 years of history and archive footage. This film was also shown as part of a multimedia exhibition in a recreation of Plastic People nightclub. The Film featured on Dazed. True London Blues - Lee Cooper // Global TVC + ABTL campaign (Jan 2019 - July 2019) Director // Writer // Creative Director Directed the AW19 campaign titled ‘True London Blues’ which features contemporary dancer Renee Stewart and Peaky Blinder's Harry Kirton floating over London’s rooftops. The music is scored and performed by the iconic Boy George. Two-day shoot, crew of 60, utilising phantom camera, special effects and directing high profile talent. Wrote and directed this campaign from concept to delivery - including creative direction for the social and online campaign as well as print.‘A night at’ AirBnb // Global TVC (Jan 2019 - Mar 2019) Director // Writer Directed and wrote “A night at” - the commercial was shot on two locations: the Louvre (which was shut down for 24 hours) and an Airbnb Apartment. She created ‘in camera’ magic through match cuts to give the idea of Airbnb lovers being as at home in the Louvre as they could be at ‘home’.
