Current• Led the generation of structural layouts and system integration for horizontal and vertical tail sectors, conducting technical research and evaluating design concepts. This role required dynamic collaboration with various teams to meet customer requirements.• Designed composite parts such as skin panels, auxiliary spars, and fairings, incorporating stacking and splicing to enhance manufacturability. Also, managed the design of metallic structural components, including NC parts and sheet metal parts, in alignment with lightweight design, cost efficiency, and maintainability goals.• Utilized CAD software and other engineering drawing creation tools for accurate specification of component designs.• Conducted innovative R&D studies focused on refining existing structural components. This involved developing advanced solutions such as full depth core rudder and co-bonding structure to mitigate design challenges and enhance structural performance.• Developed composite manufacturing methods for areas with sharp edges, such as leading edge and trailing edge. Conducted detailed studies related to the connections of rotational and fixed components, further contributing to the project's structural integrity.• Ensured thorough documentation of all design decisions and descriptions, and adeptly guided designs through various engineering stages (PDR, CDR).• Provided mentoring to new team members, sharing knowledge on basic design principles, project workflows, and offering guidance through their journey in the project.
