I joined Pulse as a Partner with the mission to help take it from fledgling start-up to thriving business. Since then, I have helped grow the organization from a young three-person team with a prototype product to a company with over 35 people, mature hardware and software products, corporate partnerships, large production capacity, and a growing list of enterprise customers across North America and beyond.

In 2019 I achieved a successful entrepreneurial exit from Bartesian. As founder, I combined my engineering background and business expertise to develop 9 products (13 patents), build a team (20+ across three facilities), and grow the company from ideation to successful market launch ($millions in funding and orders).Key successes under my leadership: - Validated product market fit following over 190 detailed customer interviews and MVP tests- Simultaneously led development programs of 9 cutting-edge products producing 13 patents- Outlined functional requirements, feature sets, and overall product roadmap - Employed an intensive agile process to develop key prototypes on-time and under budget- Developed core products below industry average timelines with a significantly smaller team and budget- Recruited and coordinated an interdisciplinary team of 20+ professionals across 3 facilities- Built a highly efficient supply chain throughout Asia, Europe, and North America - Raised $7M (3x average seed) in financing from angel, VC, and industry investors - Secured $2M+ in orders (top 1% on Kickstarter, major retail PO’s)- Championed multi-million-dollar partnerships with major industry organisations - Directed a PR campaign featuring 200+ articles, blogs, and TV segments globally_____________Bartesian is a cutting-edge hardware company producing the world’s first single-serve cocktail machine and capsule system for the consumer and hospitality markets.

As Team Principal, I managed and led a group of 20 engineering students, set strategic direction, oversaw requirements, directed all major design and fabrication decisions, and securing funding. We achieved the University’s best ever placement at the competition in Portland Oregon - 20% better than historical team average. This was partially realized by implementing a highly ambitious eight-month design-build-test schedule – the only team at Waterloo to successfully do so.____________Waterloo Baja SAE is a student run engineering team which designs, builds, tests, and competes an off-road vehicle for annual SAE inter-collegiate competitions.

HTS Engineering is a third-party supplier of HVAC equipment. In my role, I helped size and select various HVAC equipment for commercial retrofits. This included analyzing loading conditions, optimizing equipment for maximum energy savings, and coordinating installation with contractors, suppliers, and building owners.

I was responsible for the design and implementation of multiple retrofit projects (see "projects" section).

As a member of the Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) Engineering team, I helped analyze and develop solutions to various technical problems associated with the Heron UAV's deployed by the Canadian and Australian forces.

As a coordinator at PCL Industrial's modular assembly yard, I helped organize and direct the operations involved in the construction process.

The Fleet Management unit at Toronto Pearson International Airport was responsible for managing and maintaining the large fleet of vehicle which serviced the airport (including snow plows and de-icing equipment). My position within this group was to help optimize fleet deployment and maintenance activities.

I worked in a design group within Stantec's head office responsible for the mechanical design component of hospitals. This included HVAC design, of which I was directly involved.
