As the museum's primary grant writer, I help to create narratives that convey key components of HAMOC’s mission to donors, participate in identification strategies to seek out qualified funders, conceptualize ideas for programs, and support activities required to prepare, submit, and manage grant proposals. I also serve as a consultant for history-related programs and activities.

HAMOC is a small museum that focuses on the culture and history of Haitian Americans in Chicago. As a museum educator and grant writer intern, I worked in close tandem with the Executive Director to support projects across the Museum, including setting educational goals, administering the development of programs for diverse audiences, and writing grant proposals from various city, state, corporate, and foundations to fund them.Since joining the museum, my position has come to encompass a wider range of goals and administrative tasks. In 2020, I became the museum's main editor and primary grant writer and took a lead role in the creation of special programs, such as an oral history collection and a specialized Haitian library.

The Lithuanian Archives Project is a small non-profit that seeks to collect and archive historically relevant items related to the Lithuanian diaspora and make them available to the public and researchers. As a member of the archival team, I've helped to evaluate its collection, store, label, and document the series of various objects.

As a graduate teaching assistant, I helped professors to implement their curriculum in a class setting and helped to solve issues outside of class. Duties that this position entailed included me leading studying sessions, handling grades, explaining course material to students, corresponding with faculty and students, and speaking in front of the class when necessary. I did this for three semesters.
