Award-winning designer with an extensive background in design and management for print and interactive communications. Holds degrees in fine arts, advertising & graphic design, and a Master’s from the UCLA Graduate School of Education focusing on Visual Literacy. Additional design study at the School of Visual Arts in NY and Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design in Jerusalem. Served as Information Architect and User Interface Designer in the San Francisco and L.A. offices of a leading eBusiness consulting firm to Global 1000 companies; as Design Director for the first company to do automation/web software for large consortium libraries (Chicago Public, Los Angeles Public, National Library of Singapore); as Director of Design for Digital Learning for Hebrew Union College, a postgraduate Jewish seminary with campuses in NY, LA, Cincinnati, and Jerusalem; and as Communications Director for a large non-profit, managing and directing their web, print collateral, public relations, social media, advertising, and in-house video monitor display activities.Interests – ranging from whimsical to seriously analytical – also have led to the creation and management of a wholesale fine arts rubber stamp company selling to major museums and gift shops throughout the country and to graduate studies in Media Psychology. Focus is working in collaborative environments on projects that bring a smile to people’s faces and clarity to their thinking.
