He held various positions in the Gold, Coal, Industrial, and Platinum divisions of the Anglo American group, progressing from Section Engineer to Consulting Mechanical and Electrical Engineer, after which, he spent 6 years working for Siemens in Germany, Canada, South America, Southern and East Africa.Bruce returned to Anglo American in 2008 where he was subsequently appointed to the Head of Engineering role in Platinum, before moving on to establish a business in consulting.
