Having retired following a thirty-five year career at Ryerson University I've since developed an open sourced the computer based "retro" style jukebox through my company Convergence Communications . To complete this project I learned and coded the entire project in the Python Computer Language. You can access the project, including its source code via www.convergencejukebox.com.Since picking up a guitar a few years ago I've spent a great deal of time learning to play it. I take weekly lessons, learn and play songs I like from my past and I write and sing my own songs. I have also volunteered at the the Fraternal Order Of Eagles in Toronto and was served as Aerie Secretary. I also play darts in Toronto's Bloor Street Dart League and have been a member of Toronto's LIFE Institute having served on its Communications Committee assisting to standardize their communications materials across its print and electronic mediums. I'm currently enrolled in Introduction to Music Recording at Centennial College in their Audio Engineering Certificate program.

Principal And DeveloperConvergence Communications Oct 2012 - PresentToronto, CanadaI've completed the Convergence Music System which is a computer based "retro" jukebox that plays mp3's. I coded the entire project in Python on Windows and tested its cross platform capabilities successfully with Arm and Linux based computers.I'm now taking what I learned from the Convergence Jukebox music engine and am developing a concept called "Convergence Radio". It's a virtual radio station concept that uses nothing but internet based resources to automatically generate spoken and play pre recorded content.
